We go up early, as usual and packed up and headed to Francis. The plan was to beach it for the morning and hit Skinny's for lunch. When we got to the beach I texted Bug to see what they were up to and she said that they were at Lameshure and heading to Skinny's for lunch to so we made a plan to meet.
While we were there we decided to take pics for our Christmas card this year

We packed up and headed to Coral Bay, did a little shopping at Jolly Dog for some Bad A$$ stuff for a coworker.
We got a drink and Bug and crew showed up and we had a great lunch. The night before I got a facebook request from a young girl whose name I did not recognize, so I sent a message back that said "who are you?" As we were sitting having lunch, Bug's daughter reads her emails and says " Deedee X wants to know who I am" I have a new FB friend now!

After lunch we headed further out and hit Shipwreck for a drink and left a note for Pat.

You want funny? Here is funny!

We headed back towards town and just before the Clam dip, there is a West Indian woman with a cane and a stateside woman hitch hiking. We stop and the stateside woman (that obviously had the same bartender that I did on Tuesday night) helps the West Indian woman in the car and shuts the door. She then takes 30-45 seconds to make it around the back of the car and gets in. I ask where they are going and she says "Love City baby!" So I head off towards town, Cruz Bay is Love City, after all. We get to the triangle and they say that they were going to Love City Mini Market. :?
I turn around and drop them and Chip and I just stare at each other in disbelief, but not before we get told that the old woman is 80 something and walks everywhere and a bunch of other rambling that we did not understand. Did they really need to hitch hike the 100 feet to the market?

Back to the villa to clean up and meet J&L and we head to dinner at Rhumblines. We had a great meal. I had Pad Thai which is so darn good, some of the best that I have had.Everyone else enjoyed their meals and we even shared 2 desserts.

We hit the Quiet Mon for a cocktail and back home to bed to discuss the periodic table of elements.

Tomorrow: Capt John's Wild Ride!!!!

Thanks for the reports, X. Water looks incredibly gorgeous in your Merry Christmas pic. And wish I could have some of that Pad Thai about now.

Agree, great Christmas card idea and a fantastic shot. Just what you need in the middle of the cold, dark winter.

X ~

It was great to get to have lunch and spend a little time with you and Chip. My daughter made so many new friends on our trip. It was super great as a Mom to see her "get it". I did explain that this was the last trip that I was paying for. She is off to college in August and I told her that her incentive to make something out of herself is that she will be able to afford all the STJ trips she wants

XOXO

Only on STJ would someone hickhike 100 feet!

I like the Christmas card idea.

I think I am going to steal your Christmas card idea. :)

That's too funny about the hitchikers. I suppose, depending on how many cocktails she had consumed, she may indeed have needed that 100 foot long ride!

We really did discuss them. We got into bed and realized that we weren't that tired and he said we should talk. I asked about what and that is what he came up with. I was blown away by how much he knew. The things you learn about your spouse on vacation!
