Rain: Good News/Bad News

Well I was thinking that it's a wet week here in DC (We haven't seen the sun in days) but apparently we are just rain posers up here compared to STJ.
The good news is that the rain was much need in the territory. Filling cisterns, watering foliage that had turned brown and generally maintaining the balance of nature.
Bad news for vacationers though cause it's gonna be wet all week. Sorry kids. Don't you love it when mother nature messes with you?
See previous threads on what to do on island when it rains.
Just remember: Even the crappiest day on STJ is better than the BEST day at home.

Last year we had rain the entire week we were in STJ. It really wasn't so bad. I missed snorkeling and going hime with a nice tan but spending 7 days doing absoluting nothing was pretty spectacular. The most movement we made each day was leaving the villa sofa to end up on a BB stool
XOXO

Bug,
You used the words "movement" and "stool" in the same sentence...there should be a rule against that.

Gromit,
Can you buy this bug spray on island or do you have to bring it with you? I don't check a bag so it will be a problem if I can't get it on island.
Thanks for the recommendation.

Excellent, Gromit! I'll be going to our local equivalent today to pick some up. They have wipes too which will be perfect also. Thank you!

Hey, Gromit, how many bottles of Ben's would you recommend for a 3 people/1 week trip?

Just a couple will do. Hubby and I usually have 1 small bottle each for 10 days and we always come home with some left over.
It's storng stuff so you don't need to use a lot like the other brands. Plus it's a pump so there's no wasted product with the aerosol.

How's the smell? Would you go out to dinner with it?
