He has been missing for almost 24 hours. They have been frantically searching using horses, ATVs, and bloodhounds. Prayers please.

I saw when I came home from work that he was still missing. I was hopeful that they would find him today. I pray that he is alright and is found soon.

On Monday my oldest son was driving thru a busy intersection and saw a small child he guess around 2 or younger standing on the curb as they were going by the kid steps out into the road they miss him and the semi behind him misses him. they quickly spin around and grab him from the middle of the road. They try asking him where he lives he can't tell them as he speaks spanish. So they take him to the Police station and exsplain where they found him. The Police ask if they went door to door to look for the family. My son says no and if they had he wasn't sure he wanted to give the kid back to some one who let it wander out into a busy four lane street.

I checked the local news and got a noon update. Sorry to say they have found nothing except one of his shoes on Monday evening about a half mile from his home.
We are very familiar with the area. Until 2003 my parents owned a summer home there. It is in the Mark Twain National Forest, very hilly and heavily wooded. The authorities are trying to remain positive, but there are many dangers in that wilderness for this little fellow.

It is rough terrain to search. In addition to the hills and hardwood forests there are quarries, sink holes, caves, lakes & ponds, fast flowing streams with the rains that the area has recieved. I still hope and pray that this little boy is found
soon. I understand that when they found his shoe that they tightened up the search area.

I just saw a report on the local news a little bit ago that they had found some footprints, but they were not saying if they could have belonged to a child or not.
As far as I have seen this afternoon, there have been no other developments that they are reporting.
