My friend that is going on the NOv. trip loves lobster. Is there a place you can get it at lunch? With the custom requirements we have to be back to STJ before 5pm and can't do dinner over there. I've never seen any place. We usually have lunch at Soggy Dollar. I know they don't.. Just thought I would check and make sure we aren't missing anything!

Sidney's Peace and Love in Little Harbour (just east of Great Harbour) serves lobster for lunch, I'm told, although we've never made it there.

Does your friend love Caribbean lobster, because it's different than cold water lobster. I absolutely LOVE cold water lobster but have been so disappointed with Caribbean lobster...it's a little softer, mushier, starchier...I'm not sure how to explain it but I'm not a fan.
Just thought I'd give you the heads up so your friend isn't let down if they don't like the Caribbean lobster!

if Sidney's offers lobster for lunch, you'll need to get a taxi to Little Harbour. might as well wait till you get back to st. john/dinner. too little time on jost if you need to leave at 5:00, to waste time taxing back and forth for a meal...imo. check www.traveltalkonline / bvi forum. posters there can give you the info you need !!
