Something great for us gals........

I was in Walgreens yesterday and happened across the display that contained the Ped Egg. I'm sure most of you have seen this item advertised on TV. I work on my heels every day because I hate dry, cracked heels, but I could not believe how this product works so great. It's like sanding a piece of wood. I just love it, so I thought I'd pass along that info. I know we all love pretty feet for our STJ foot photos. It works much better than the stuff they use during a pedicure. The gal at Walgreens said they sell a ton of them and have never had one returned.

You guys probably need it alot worse than us gals. I'd love to see if any of you would actually admit to trying one of these. My husband would probably let me do it to him, but there is no way I'm touching his nasty feet.

It's so fun to get you guys stirred up.

I'm sure you men need this product a lot more than most of us women.

I am not at all ashamed to admit that I would use one - and might head to walgreens tomorrow to pick one up. I have horrible feet. And man-boobs too...They have anything for those down Walgreens?

Sox, it's actually kind of fun, and amazing to see how much of your feet end up in that little "egg". You try it on your man boobs and let me know how that works for you, then I'll try it on my thighs.

K, I'm going to Walgreens to get one of those egg things. I'm OCD about my feet. Also, another really great thing to use is...IDK what they're called but I will describe it. You can get them at the beauty supply. They are about the size of a kitchen sponge and they look like one. They are really hard and crispy feeling. Take it in the bath with you a couple times a week and you will be sooo happy. You can use it wet or dry but wet is much better. I just get mine wet, put a lil shower gel on it and scrub my heels soft. I've gotten them for all my girlfriends and they are so hooked. WAY better than any pumice stone or foot file ever thought of being and they're only a few dollars. It's a pedi girl's best friend.

They're called Pumice Bar. It's not the stone or file.

Hey, they actually have a Pedi Egg made for men. It's a lot less petite looking and looks kinda more heavy duty LOL! Guess you won't need to turn in your man cards after all!!!

Chrisn, I know what you are talking about and that's what I've been using. I even use a foot scrub from Bath and Body Works and a Lotion afterwards. But the egg thing is amazing. The dead skin that comes off your feet and ends up inside the egg is like very, very fine sand. I've been watching Lifetime movies and scrubbing my feet every little while and I bet I've lost a shoe size. It also has a buffer to make the skin feel smoothe, but I still think some kind of lotion is necessary, just to get some moisture back in the skin.

I wish I had invented that thing. Someone always beats me to the best ideas........like Spanx.

Surprise! -Another guy who's feet don't smell like Pot pourri (sp?)...(unless it's supposed to smell like Jack Daniels, beer, sweat, and of course,-wing sauce...)
Kerosene & a wire brush, perhaps?
Just another reason to miss STJ; Wearing flip-flops & going barefoot grinds away the stinky goo.
That's right, I said Stinky Goo!
I'm internally hoping you're picking up my sense of humor, because I'm kinda' laying it on pretty thick...
The island seems to be foot-friendly, to me at least...
Naturally...
Coral beach sands, warm wetness in the oceans' bays, and nothing but
Smiles-

If those were your feet in the recent lizard picture, you might want to give it a try   .

That sounds like a great gadget. I have been using the old fashioned pumice stone. After I walk in the sand for a week on STJ, the bottom of my feet are soft as can be. Natures exfoiliation.

I love my Pedi Egg! I've used the pumice stone thingy-ma-bob, and it works well too, but I can't stand holding the thing! Something about the feel of the pumice is like fingernails on a chalkboard to me.
