Passport time. WOW

We're going to STJ on 5/8 with a day trip with Capt Phil to Jost during our trip. In Feb, I asked hubby if his passport was still good. He assured me it was and whined that I was nagging.
One month before: I finally trust my gut & check. Yep, expires 4-22-09. *(^*@&*^%!!!
We get everything together to expedite/overnight it (4 weeks out so not a prob). Application is returned one week later because hubby sent it via UPS. They don't deliver to PO boxes.
Redo everything last week (less than 3 weeks out). It was sent out last Friday 4/17 so they got it Monday morning. We received the new passport TODAY!
We can sleep easier now.
