First, the weather is great but this villa is Awesome! The deck space alone is amazing. Views to Tortola, etc
It's Easy Breezes...and is as it's name implies. Not one bug!!
The road up here was crappy to say the least... My poor old back was screamin'!! But our friends Barb and Cary from Paradise Massage showed up promptly at 11 and worked out the kinks. They also brought us a fresh papaya from their tree!!
Our WIFI wasn't working and the Computer Geek showed up and told us the tree the receiver was attached to fell down and ripped the wire out, so he mounted it back to the stump, and here we are!! HIGH TECH!!
You'll love this...we're in line at the EWR airport and the people in front of us have fins and I ask them where they're headed. They said it was their first trip to STJ. We tell them that's where we're headed so we help them to get a cab and when we get to the ferry dock she whips out a folder. She said, "I got the best information from these great people on a Virgin Islands Forum." I laugh and tell her I'm on the forum! She had pages of stuff she's written down from posts!! She's never posted. But I invited her and her husband to join us at the forum gathering Sun. She's so excited to be here!!
I think some of us take for granted what these Islands do for us, but the joy on their faces was "PRICELESS"!

Ahh...Shipwreck drinks....Y-U-M-M-Y. Enjoy!!

Got some much needed showers tonight. The Island is very brown and dry so we're happy for the rain. The cisterns are so low. As I showered I rinsed, turned off the water, lathered and rinsed. It's funny how a 15 minute shower at home means nothing. Here I'm concious of every drop I use.
STfromNJ...have fun at ADay! It's a good time. I'm two minutes from Del Val. If I was home you could stop over for drinks and some hot-tubbin'!!
