Caribbean Travel Tips - I need your help

Hello everyone,
The guy who was authoring this section http://www.caribbean-on-line.com/travel-tips/ of Caribbean-On-Line for me has called it quits - he isn't traveling that much anymore and he didn't see the viability of it. I want to see it continue to grow, and while I don't have the resources to automate it at the moment, I am hoping that some of you could maybe offer up some tips in this thread for islands outside the USVI you have been to (which I will then post there and add photos etc. if I can find them). It could be a favorite beach, restaurant, hotel, villa, activity, etc. anywhere in the Caribbean. I am sure you will get the flavor by checking this out http://www.caribbean-on-line.com/travel-tips/

Thanks for any tips you can provide!

Thanks! You can email me, PM me, or post it here. I am working on something where people could post them but that is a "soon come" feature - for now I am going to re-enter whatever submissions we get. I read your report on the Aruba forum - nice. You can just give me one thing - like one of the places you liked to eat, etc. or how to set up your shade thing on the windy beach - stuff like that would be great.

If you are heading way down to the South Caribbean, to the hot little Island of Aruba, there is a fun little bar out on a pier that you shouldn't miss called the Bugaloe Beach Bar. The Bugaloe is located on a pier off Palm Beach between the RIU Palace and the Radisson Resort. My wife and I were just down there and we had several fun times at the Bugaloe. The first night we were there we caught a live band playing with a lead singer originally from Philadelphia...this band was alot of fun and, actually, very good. They played everything from Santana to Michael Jackson...we actually got out there and danced...thank god there are no videos! One day we had yummy curry shrimp and a burger for lunch, another night we enjoyed a lively "Salsa Dance Workshop" where some local dance instructors had us all out there learning to dance salsa and merengue...what a hoot! The staff at this place is really good too, friendly and efficient. Happy Hour is from 4-5 PM...don't miss this place the next time you are in Aruba, check their website for event dates and times....Bon Dia!

Ok That's fine with me...feel free to download the pics to another hosting spot so I don't delete them later and break a link...

Credit to "Jim S, South Carolina"...or Sherban....either one.

Anthony...........just read your post. Have been busy and away from the forum for awhile.

Are you looking for "any" island?? I'm assuming this does not cover the Bahamas?

I'll get my thoughts together, although I don't think I have many pictures. Will email you soon, give me a couple of days.
