As I sit here at work, I wonder why I even bothered to come in today. I can not think about anything but STJ.
This vacation is much needed for both Chip and I. The economy has been a b*tch and we really have no business spending the amount we are on this trip but I know that it is not just a vacation but a time for me to relax. Chip thinks I won't, he says that I get crazy yelling at tourists that can't drive (he is right, it is pretty funny) and I have to have a plan most days, but I do relax, just in my own way.

I was just talking to a co-worker about the trip and she said that I was lucky.As she looked at my Steve Simonsen calendar, she said that she can only dream of beaches like that.
All of us here really are lucky. We have found an island that suits us. A place that makes us feel better, emotionally and physically, for some.
We have found our happy place.

We leave the house at 4am tomorrow and will be on the 3:00 boat from RH. Check out the webcam, I will be the one with the huge smile, more luggage than I wanted to bring, and a small cooler filled with steamers for Ruth. I will be the one that looks relaxed to be in her happy place.

I agree man. Put all your stress in a bag and ship it somewhere else. Enjoy the time on the rock, kick back and have one heck of a time.
