We're back from our first trip to STJ, and are preparing our Trip Report - which we hope to post in a couple of days.
In the meantime, we're "practicing" how to include pictures within a post. This one is of a mummified iguana we found on Whisteling Cay. If this works, thanks Liamsaunt.
OK, here goes...

The tree frog in the barbecue is interesting. I'm sure with some Cruz Bay Grill Rub it would taste just like chicken!

When I was in STJ in March I found a cute little frog in various places in my bathroom. Sometimes he would be sitting on a shelf or in my shower and twice I found him in my toilet!! They are so cute!!

Lucky you saw him before you "went" or flushed...That would just be such a downer.

That dead iguana picture is priceless! It's so very artistic, splayed out that way between rock sculptures.

Linward....
I know you don't know me from Adam...but do you use Facebook?
The reason being is that I made this application called St.John Gifts....
And that mummified iguana would make a great "birthday card/gift" to add to my application...
Do you mind if I "steal" it?
This is not a money making thing or anything (I am not sure if you are familiar with Facebook). This is just a very silly application where you can send "stuff" to friends from St. John....you are really just sending them a thumbnail photo to their facebook page and it will have a silly note on it.
This would be a lovely addition and I would be thrilled to credit you with the photo of the beautiful creature.
As Bill Clinton said, "That's one hot mummy!"
If you are on Facebook, just search under applications for St. John Gifts
Let me know!
BTW guys, almost 2000 gifts sent to date! Thanks for your support! Maybe I'll be famous LOL!

We had that happen here at home, not it the VI's. My parents were staying with us and my mom went to use the restroom and lifted up the seat to see a quite large tree frog under the rim. Freaked her out to no end

She thanks her lucky stars for making her look down before she sat down to take care of business. I told her welcome to living in FL! My wife swears it was a evil devised plan to keep them from moving from up north
