Ok... so the weather's starting to get warm here in VA (albeit we have a cold spell today) and our final villa deposit is due in less than 2 weeks!

Flip Flop and I have been hard at work putting the finishing touches on our 10 days in paradise: The Tanned & Tanked Tour 2009! Woohoo!

We even managed to handle the monkey wrench of AA changing our flights... umm ... no I don't want to overnight at JFK... unless AA is paying for the hotel... thankyouverymuch. So instead we're headed thru Miami.

The boyz have their nightime and daytime diving adventures set and Flip FLop and I have secured at least a half day at the spa.

Pretty soon I'll be hitting the tanning salon to get some color on the skin (I know some object to this but honestly a few hits at the tanning salon keeps me from frying when I get on island).

Pretty soon I'll be pulling out the summer clothes and deciding how much (or little) to pack! This is a constant effort for me not to overpack. I'm getting better but I am a founding member of OA: Overpackers Anonymous.

Flip flops- check
bathing suit- check
snorkel stuff-check
tie dye tshirt - check
keens- check
shorts- check
and the list goes on...

I've even started working on a STJ playlist for my iPhone.

Looking forward to seeing folks at the Beach Bar on June 21st!!

I am BUMMED that I will not be tanned and tanked. However, Flat Vicki is packed and ready. I made sure she has strappy sandals and a sarong for the hike to Salt Pond.

Gromit, you get there right when I leave, so I read all of your posts and think "I'm even a week closer!!" I'm going to get to work on my STJ playlist this week. We just sent in our final deposit and were excited to do so. I can't quite hear the waves, but I am starting to smell some coconut in the air...
