None! Especially in this photo

It almost seems like a prerequisite in the country music biz these days. Every time I click by CMT, every other video has some nice looking blonde singing a song...not that there's anything wrong with that!

 . She seemed genuinely surprised to win. Although I'm not really a Taylor Swift fan, I thought she was cute too. I didn't watch the whole show, but I love that Trace Adkins song that won for best single.

The Entertainer of the Year was voted by the fans which could be the reason she won. I thought in past years it went by ticket sales, etc. in which case Kenny would have won hands down.

I thought it was fan voted AND industry voted.
I am guessing it was ALL fan voted

I think most men would think she has alot of sex appeal and if she's a yeller when she sings, so is Mick Jagger, Steven Tyler, Celine Dion, etc.

She has a big voice and I think she's pretty good...JMO

She is very beautiful, and looks great on stage, and has a great voice (even though she does scream). I was a fan of hers on American Idol, and was so glad she won. But come on now.....is she the talant of a Keith Urban or Kenny Chesney? Can she fill a stadium with 50,000 people? Does she play a guitar? Does she write any of her own songs? I just think there were better entertainers and she needs to pay a few dues before getting such an honor.

It's not important compared to what's going on in the world.....just a little distraction from real life.

I love country music but most of what they play on country radio these days is hardly country. I think it really started going down hill when Shania Twain did "Any Man of Mine"...my girlfriends and I were so frustrated with a pop song being played on country radio. We knew it was the beginning of the end...

Now I pretty much only listen to country on CDs. I tried listening to "country" radio awhile back but that Honkytonk Badonkadonk song came on and I had to put my George Strait CD back in...

Lets face it folks, the country music today is not country music. It is a sound that the labels pushed and newcomers followed. Love the music Kenny Chesney puts out, but I wouldn't classify it as country. He's taken this entire thing and making it his brand.George and Alan still try to keep up with the old sound and I love it. If you want to hear country today you have to reach deep. If you want to hear what they call country, just turn on the radio.

Thank god I held onto my old Mark Chestnut, Tracy Byrd, etc CD's. I tahnk the most that I still have all the old cd's from one of the most underated singers and his name is Tracey Lawrence.

I like country music, and bluegrass, too. I just don't think of the dribble that comes out of Nashville today as being anything other than Top40 pop rhetoric. When I was a teenager they called a lot of the Top 40 stuff "bubblegum music".
I call today's Nashville sound "bubba gum music".
That said, a guy would have to be dead, not to find sex appeal in that picture of Carrie Underwood!

You would think that after the other night, getting replaced in the hearts of millions of rednecks everywhere by a leggy blond, The Bald Mighty Mite would stay away from that type of girl, yet, here he is, that very night cozying up with some of the said same types (did I just compare Underwood to a playboy bunny??? I guess i did!)
