We leave tomorrow, 8 days in paradise without our children!!!!

Cross fingers for me because we're heading out right before a snowstorm and landing for our connecting flight right after serious weather in Atlanta (according to the always reliable weather people that is!

Well, it wasn't the St. John gods (Hi CG) that wanted us there but fate that did not. My husband's brother died this evening. He has been sick for a long time but looked to be in a good place for the forseeable future, until today. If there is a heaven it looks like St. John, but for my brother in law we'll have to build a full golf course!

Thanks for the good wishes, we'll try again in May.

We are already rebooked! Grief taking a funny form, or St. John addiction full blown? Who knows, but we're going in May now. Would have made it out today too, as the snow didn't start until afternoon. I did a search on weather in May and looks like it's hit or miss on rain and skeeters. Here I go back onto the "can't wait" track! Anybody else about ready to burst with anticipation?

So Sorry to hear about the family situation...If he needs a playing partner, my best friend Jerry will be there waiting for him to tee off on the first hole.
This is 9th Anniversary of his leaving.

Anticipation! Yes! Today is 100 and counting for our July 11th departure from Miami to St. John!
Can't Wait.....for that first step onto the island.

If you are in STJ on Sunday, May 10th, come down to the Beach Bar around 5pm and meet a bunch of forumites there. We'll be down on the beach by the tree. You probably could use a few hugs and Hellos.
