Does anyone know if the Pond Bay construction can be heard from Maria Bluff? I can't find a good detailed map online and I can't tell how far away the site is.

No way. Quite a distnce and two hills between them.

opens over caneel bay on north shore. aerial view is zoomable and you can move around with close in to see different parts of island. also has menu top left that gives several other map options. yahoo is at a different time so cloud cover "moves".

pond bay is at east end of choc hole between beach and the salt pond. picture taken before construction started so not vissilbe. maria bluff is the land point between choc hole and great cruz bay at southwestern end of island.

You're totally fine at Maria Bluff. I just got back and was staying at Dever's Bay, which is right next to Chocolate Hole and I didn't hear anything. Have a great time...we did!!!
