A pretty place, but it still isn't St. John

Just wanted to say hi...it's been a while since I posted. We were on vacation for 2 weeks then I got the dreaded stomach bug going around so I have been out of commission. We went to Las Vegas to have some alone time without the little one before our St. John trip in May. We braved the new Skywalk over the Grand Canyon....Holy
that was scary! Still would rather be laying on a floaty at Gibney Beach with a mango rum and ice tea. This vacation was too much work! Happy Friday

Egads, I got vertigo just looking at your picture.
Good call leaving the kids at home. Took mine to the Grand Canyon, they peered over the edge for 30 seconds and then asked if we could go to the giftshop.

very cool. we are going in Sept. to Az. and i'd love to do that walk. Isn't that north rim? I think I will be pretty far from there if coming from PHX area but I really have no concept of where anything is!

WOW! I hope they didn't have some engineering interns design that for a summer project or something.
I've never been to the GC, but we'll take our kids when they are a little older - and I'm sure they'll all convince me to walk across that thing... freaky though. Thanks for the cool pic!

Great pic of you! I'm with everyone else on the fact that I couldn't do that Skywalk. Hell, I have vertigo as it is! I surely don't need that! LOL!
