taxi rides on the Island

We have made plans for our 3rd trip to our wonderful paradise island of ST J and have yet to really let loose at one of the local fun establishments such as Woody's, Skinny Legs etc. because of not wanting to drink and drive. The roads are a challenge as it is do not need to intoduce alcohol to the equation, I'm sure everyone would agree! So I was wondering will the taxi's come to a villa? and if so how late do they run. Would love to celebrate Halloween this year at Skinny's and "let our hair down" but will not drink and drive. Appreciate any insight. New member to the forum and really enjoy exploring the posts.

99% of the time they will not :(

Where are you staying - they will not come to Coral Bay for a villa pick up - they don't like to come to Coral Bay anytime anyway and when my MIL used one as she missed the bus they chared her $30 pp to drop her and her friend off at the bottom of our driveway on Centerline Road before the triangle  but I have heard of a few times that a driver will pick up a group from a villa if the villa is located in a easy area close to town.

Make sure if you do find one that will, that you give them exact "island" directions ie: turn left at the goat trail then right at the dumpster etc, as most of the residents here won't know street names as we don't use them :)

Thanks Pia for the reply. I guess will just have to dedicate a driver. Its not like we intend to get to "crazy" but it would be nice knowing you do not have to drive after enjoying some fine "Island Libations" :P We are in the pastory garden area so it is a little bit of a hike to Skinny's and I have heard the Halloween parties there are a "hoot".
Again thank you
