Anybody stay at Great Escape overlooking Reef Bay thru Caribe Havens? Tried to get pictures of pool and deck, but they can't seem to get it to my email. Thanks.

We stayed at Great Escape way back in 2001. This was before the addition of the pool. It had a very nice set up, with 2 baths (shower & toilette) at each end. There are 2 rooms equally appointed along with a bedroom with twins. Each room has a sink, vanity & mirror in it for convenience. Drive way and entry to the villa are easy, pulling right up to the front door.

When we stayed there, we didn't get much use of the deck, due to a strong front coming through. The deck was just too windy. From what we had heard, this was not normal.

Only suggestion: if you go out onto the deck, make sure that the door is unlocked. We mistakenly went out there through the kitchen and shut the door. We were locked out on the deck until my husband shimmied over the deck and climbed the hill to re-enter through the front door!!!! This was not an easy task.

Thanks for the info. Would you rent that villa again and how was the view? Also, how was the a/c?
