this site has been around awhile--but if you don;t know it it is a great way to flex your vocabulary and donate rice to those who are hungry!
it's really great for kids--my daughter plays this all the time and it's really a win win win! (she's learning while earning rice and i am cool with her hogging the computer!)

djmom, my daughter just turned 12 and my son will be 10 in april--so almost the same as yours!

BTW-I have been having a terrible time getting my 8 year old to do her multiplication facts every night. she is supposed to do them for 10 minutes. She did them for about 20 minutes on Free Rice! So thank you!

And I am brushing up on my French. Kindof fun actually. I am surprised how much I have remembered-and forgotten
