Hi. This is my 1st post but I am an avid forum reader. Just love reading and dreaming about St John. I'm considering counseling, am spending way too much time on my obsession!
My son and his wife spent their honeymoon at the Westin and couldn't wait to return to do it right. I still haven't figured out how bringing mom along is "doing it right" but I have lots of air miles which makes me much more attractive.
Starting to plan our return trip to The Island, June or July. We are bringing friends this time, 5 adults and possibly 1 child. Last fall (days before the hurricane) we were at Bombalassy and really enjoyed it but it won't accommodate all of us. We like the Great Cruz Bay area, pool, 3-4 bedrooms. We looked at Eaglesnest but would prefer the pool just off the living area.
Anyone know anything about Dream Catcher? We are open to and would appreciate any suggestions. Just can't wait to be there and am trying to figure out a way to work online so that I can just move there. See, I told you that I need counseling!

After a search that took way too long we decided on Vida de Mar for December.....

http://www.vidademar.com/

It is a beautiful villa right on the beach on Dever's Bay. And the owner is offering great "stimulus" discounts through their web site right now......

How funny that you are staying at Vida! We have stayed there too and it is a great spot - you will have a great time!

I also saw that they have a Facebook page where you can be a "fan." I am definitely a fan! :)

hi and welcome out of lurkdom! I have not seen Dream Catcher, but I recognized the name from a post:

And a review:

To be fair, the villa may well have been updated since these posts were made. It's worth asking about, because if it was recently updated it might be very nice. Ask the management firm when the pictures on the web site were taken.

Have fun planning!
