Frank Bay Sunset February 16, 2009

I'm not so great for photos of beaches or birds, but when it comes to Frank Bay sunsets, I'm your gal.
We've had a little spell of lackluster sunsets here, but tonight was spectacular. I couldn't decide on one best photo, so here are two.
I'm sorry you weren't all here, but enjoy.

Hello Ruth - beautiful photos...saw that scene myself many times and love it! I have a quick question. A recent poster mentioned swimming in Frank Bay and then getting out at the dock...the folks were staying at Gallows Point so I assumed they meant the walkway and steps into the water from Gallows. Is the water in front of Gallows Frank Bay? I always thought FB was around to the left of GP

Hi Sunflower,
That was probably me you were reading about. We got in the water from the Gallows dock and then swam over to Frank Bay. It's not far--maybe a 5 minute swim.
Hope that helps!
