Need to leave for the airport in 2 hours....my assistant calls in sick....email is down...why the last minute stress to get everything done.

Red eye out of Portland tonight to LA, then Miami and STT. First night at Mafolie in STT, then 3 nights on Tortola and 7 days on STJ. It will probably be about Friday before I can unwind enough to enjoy but the sun and rum should speed it up.

Hopefully by the time we get there the rain will be gone, see you on the other side.

It's usually that first blast of hot air on the tarmac that puts me on "island time", hopefully it'll hit you asap!

I was having a little trouble getting de-stressed on my last trip. But then I made friends with some mojitos at the airport bar. Needless to say, I was on island time before the stewardess told me to buckle up!

i did 2 shots of banana rum at the airport after we landed- it helped.

Just go into island time mode - you will get here soon anyway!!
Be aware - I had Painkillers last night at Mafolie -- Surprise! they are Nine Dollars each. Seemed a bit steep for Pussers Rum to me. Go for the welcome shots at the airport!
