Was wondering if there was anybody out there going to be at the Beach Bar on Feb. 22. This is going to be our 5th trip to STJ but our first time going to the gathering if there is one. Hoping to put some faces to names. Looking forward to making some new friends and good times of course.

We'll be there! After my Eco Spa Day listed in the other thread.... I'll be glowing!

There are two of us, Juice and Tracy - Juice said he'd wear his Forum T-shirt and we'll probably be on the beach.

We'll be on island at that time as well. Is it socially acceptable to bring an (almost) 2 year old to the Beach Bar for a Forum Meet up, or at anytime, for that matter? He's a great, well adjusted guy who we like to take out, but we try to make sure that our kid doesn't infringe on other folks' enjoyment.

If so, we'll definitely try and come. My wife, son and I are bringing two newbies this time (our son was there in utero - not sure if that counts).


What time do the gatherings normally get going?

My kids love the beach bar - but they are a bit older. There are a couple of big trees to play on and it's the beach. I think your son would have fun.

As far as timing, we'll probably get there around 6:00/6:30ish.

Hey cariblvr - We're from Muskegon and will be arriving in St. Thomas on the 21st. Maybe I can talk DH into coming to the Beach Bar on the 22nd. We want to get to the Quiet Mon and see the bartender (Kenny) too. We were there in 2007 and had an awesome time!

Sure is cold in West Michigan right now! 17 days until I find weather that is 80 degrees warmer than here!!

What time do you plan on being at the beach bar on the 22nd?

I believe the party gets going around 5 pm and lasts
until god knows how long? So looking forward to it
