I bet the us northeast folks will be flooding the spice cam with hits today!

Another 8 to 12 of the white stuff coming in. Will it ever end?

You are right! Be prepared for this storm system everyone and be safe. We are buried in ice here, and it just keeps coming. We lost power overnight, but my phone is charged, atleast for now. I hope others of you are doing okay who have been hit by this winter storm. I'll try to check back in later if I have a way to. Be careful everyone and continue watching the spicecam.

:)

I checked the cam after going back to sleep ( no school AGAIN today!) 78 looks very nice against 28 and icy day here.

It's bad in KY. Lots of trees and limbs down with power outages in several counties. It's raining right now, but is supposed to turn to snow later then freeze. Coming to work this morning was an experience. Be safe everyone.

kygirl, hope your power's back soon. Take care.

Thanks Pam. It is back on already. I know there are others not so fortunate though. We are starting to have trees split and large branches drop. Clean up is going to be fun.

Kentucky is a nightmare today! Thank goodness today was my day off!! So far electricity is still on but snow is still coming down and I keep hearing limbs from the trees in our yard creaking and cracking. A couple of limbs are already down.
Oh how I wish I was in stj!!!!!

It's not too bad in Boston yet. There is less than an inch on the ground. Visibility is bad--I can't see further than the CITGO sign out my window. Supposedly it is going to turn to rain later. It had better--I'm supposed to be on a plane to St. John tomorrow morning!

We are too!!!

Liamsaunt,
we are on a plane (I hope) to St. John tomorrow morning as well!!!
Right now I'm in my living room in Ogunquit Maine watching the snow come down. We are hoping on a C&J Trailways bus out of Portsmouth NH this afternoon to stay at the airport tonight. We are scheduled on AA for a 9am (I think) flight. See you there!

Be glad you are in Boston Mike, you guys won't get the amount that we will. The 8-12 is for NW sections (meaning us AGAIN!!). The schools are closed, and paying a baby-sitter to watch my son, while I go to work really bites!! I remember a few snow days as a kid, but they sure seem to close the schools much more often these days.

Is it June yet???????? 143 days to go!! 8)

Lexington Kentucky here.

We just moved to a new area and our lot (with no trees) is surrounded by thick woods on 2 sides. Stood outside last night while the dogs "did their thing" around 10pm and about every 5 seconds could hear a tree splitting in the woods. Really creepy!

We have about 1" of ice and now it's snowing 4-5 inches on top of it.

But - 10 days until our STJ vacation starts! See you soon!

I have 6 inches of snow outside my window, but the spice cam keeps me toasty inside. I don't know whats worse: Having no power or having 8 relatives at my house until their power is back on.

liamsaunt and dndw/l,
its balmy and a warm 50 degrees here on Cape Cod right now. The snow turned to rain and washed it all away! Good flying weather heading your way soon if its not there already..
Have a blast!
