Our local PBS channel has on American Experience tonight at 9:00PM "The Trials of J. Robert Oppenheimer" Might see some vintage St. John???!!

This is some dark history of technology and warfare...one of the reasons we are the strongest nations...hard to make sense of some of this.

Probably easier to make sense of than what the St. John taxies say about the "fahter of de atomic BOMB".
Doubt if there was anything about St. John in it, though. He was very much a part-time resident, usually a month in the summer and a couple of weeks in the winter.
After his death, his widow, Kitty, did live here much of the time for a few years, and then there was the real tragedy of daughter Toni...
