I just booked airline for April 3-8; $297 round trip was just too good a deal to pass up!
So I'm looking for accommodation recommendations for 5 nights on STJ. It'll be just the two of us (Grandma & Grandpa will be staying with the kids), so 1 BR is sufficient. We'd like a kitchen/kitchenette to do some cooking, and a deck/patio with a view would be nice. I'm open to either side of the island. Any ideas?
I can't believe I'll be in STJ in 2 months!

You can check out Lavender Hill Suites just a very short walk to Cruz Bay. If you do I would suggest looking at staying in the west building either units 1W, 2W, or 5W. They are 1 bedrooms with full kitchen. 1 and 2W have wrap around decks. We stayed in 1W last year and found it very clean and comfortable.
You are arriving on the last week of their high season rates which.
Good luck!

Have you looked at Gallows Point?
Cruz Views or Coconut Coast might work also.

Island Dreams is a one-bedroom with a pool. We helped the owners Larry and Suzzy when it was time to put up the hurricane screens. Great folks.

Thanks Mike - I'll look into Lavender...
Liamsaunt - Gallows is a bit pricey this time, but I've already looked into CV & CC and both are available. Between the two do you have any preference?
Chet - thanks for the Island Dreams recommendation - pics look awesome!
Jim - whoever could you mean???

Luna Vista was the first plkace I checked - unfortunately (but not surprisingly) it is booked.

I've got my eye on the following place - Windwardside Guest Cottage:

I think it might be perfect for the next trip with my husband.

I can vouch for Cruz Views we have stayed there three times. Nice pool and Great views from most rooms and the price is right. If your a risk taker I would think there will be some great last minute deals this year. I know there are some going on right now for Cruz Views. There always seems to be some last minute deals on Cruz Views

Check out Just Enough or New Moon cottages in Coral Bay. We stayed at Just Enough and liked it a lot. There are lotsa stairs down from the driveway though but it did not affect our enjoyment of the cottage.

Thanks guys! There seems to be quite a bit available for the days I want, so I don't feel pressed to secure something right away. I'm going to look for awhile and maybe even find a deal somewhere. In the meantime, keep the recommendations coming!

Just booked Cruz Views #7! They posted a last minute deal, so I jumped. Got the flight, the jeep, and now the place. All set, but for the rum...

Loria, AA has some great fares right now. Not sure where in NY you are, but may be higher there. We're flying BOS-STT (direct departure, 1 stop on the return). I also used a promo code for 10% off which is good until May 15th.
and check out:

Polly - yes! My son does Destination Imagination which she is involved in.
Boxborough is a small town...
