I've been trying to get on Caribbean Villas website and keep getting a generic "save this domain" page. Anyone else having problems? Maybe it's just too early in the morning (4:55am EST)?

i got the same page, like they don't own that domain. But I found this one, is it this?

http://www.caribbeanvilla.com/ - that is the right URL - looks like they didn't pay their bill
http://caribbeanvillas.org/ is a whole other site/business and not affiliated with Caribbean Villas of St. John -

Whois showed they paid their bill this morning. Will take a few hours but their site will be back up after the DNS info filters through the system.
This happens all the time in the web world and is no sign whatsoever of the state of the company. Just a simple oversight.

I just called and the mystery is solved. Spoke to the
office and they too just realized that the domain needed to be renewed and they're taking care of it right now.
We were told the site should be up soon.

Thanks everyone! I thought it may be a past-due bill problem. It's still not working (8:40pm EST) but I'll wait a few more hours.

Was on it last night at ten. Now I get that domain page to buy a domain name. Sure they will get it worked out soon. There were some great deals going on. Heck Cruz Views had some condos renting for offseason rates thats a hundred off a night

Sure wish my honey had some vacation time I'd be drinkin a carib under a palm in no time flat

Has anyone done business with this group before? We are about to book an expensive vacation with them for this summer, and shelling out big bucks next week. Please tell me they are a stable group.....

Wow -- they send you enough notices to renew... seems like I get one at least once a week when ours are up, starting at least 6 months before it's due. Unless they deleted their e-mail address where the messages were being sent... or they are going their junk mail folder - i've seen both of those instances before.

Yea we have rented from them a couple of times and never had a problem. I'm sure they are fine they probably have more villas than any other agency, they aren't going anywere. You will notice they get dogged for their 5% service charge but alot of there villas are priced a little less than others. Relax it will be fine and welcome to the board

Thanks, glad to be here. St John has always appealed to us, read 'dream trip', we usually hit Mexico because we can get there quickly and very easily.
We decided we were going for it this year, and going to do it right. We've spent a month looking for 'the' place, find it, ready to book, and then this.
How do you forget something like forgetting to pay a bill that is a huge part of your business?
Hmmmmm.....

This is our second time using Caribbean Villas and am happy with them. They have a very good selection of villas. I had hoped to get online to see if our villa was still available next week (it was last I checked) so that we might extend our stay for a few days.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the reassurance.
We are so excited about going, that I didn't want a problem to develop after booking.
Cheers!
