Everyone I appreciate the candor and emotion but please keep it civil. We are swamped here with work and I will admit to being slightly AWOL on a lot of the back and forth here - but let's not take it to the trash and insult each other, etc.
I would really appreciate it -
Get away from the computer for bit - it will do you good.
Also sorry to be slamming all you kind folks with offers for this and that but I have to pay some bills! Now everyone go buy one of those fancy new Steve Simon CDs!
P E A C E !!!

I'm so glad that you didn't say, "I'm not angry, I'm just disappointed." That always killed me when my parents said that.

I always TRY (try being the operative word) to play nice but sometimes I get myself all worked up and not in a good way.
My apologies to you, Anthony, and to the good people of the forum who are voyeurs and can't help but watch the train wreck.
I promise to get up on higher ground.

what's the deal with the cd's - do any of the proceeds go to any charity? I know Steve does a lot of charitable work so I was just wondering.

Dear Anthony,
This may be a stupid question, but I would really like to see the Steve Simon(sen?) CD, where can I find it?
Salty,
What is the purpose of inserting O into every possible conversation?

Thanks CG-
I thought I looked there but apparently didn't know what I was looking for.
I was hoping it was Caribbean music but my grandaughter loves Jazz and anything STJ so I might get it for her.
My dear husband has become a Kenny Chesney fan since we returned from STJ. I hear "Boats" a little too often but I'm hoping that means we will be back on STJ this year and take an excursion with Capt. Brandi.
Are you going this year?

My wife and I are also big fans of KC. Going to see him at Mohegan Sun in April with my sister who lives in Pittsburgh...He has a nice duet with of all people Dave Matthews on that CD called, "I'm Alive".
Your hubby has great taste in music, IMO!

Yes, my husband & I and Scuba Girl & her husband, and another good forum friend will be sailing in the islands from Apr. 25th - May 3rd. We're really excited, as we've never been on a trip like this before!

Sox~
I was the original KC fan in the family, but my favorite tune is "On the Coast of Somewhere Beautiful".
I was unfamiliar with the Mohegan Sun so I researched it. Looks like I could just move there for the entire month of March and see some of my favorite groups. Celtic Woman, Fleetwood Mac, KC, and my teenage idol JOHNNY MATHIS! The only concert we ever attended until recently was Johnny Mathis in the Dee Event Center Ogden UT circa 1980. The attendees were nearly all couples about our age and I was so sappy I cried during "The Twelfth of Never". Good times.
Enjoy the concert!!!

Sounds like a "dream trip" to me. I'm sure some of the most beautiful areas are only accessible by boat.
Hope you have a great time!
We are pretty good "sailors" when it comes to motion sickness. It is getting my broad backside on and off the boat that I worry about

One of our all-time favorite trips was sailing around the BVIs for a week. You will have such a great time !
