Count me in as freezing! I should be getting in the car to drive home but I am dragging my feet because I don't want to go outside.
No trip report but I have started inventory on clothing for our upcoming VG trip. Under protest, I started with the wee one this morning trying to figure out what still fits and what I need to replace. He was not into the mood to try on swim trunks at 8am.

This one's for Scuba Girl (inside joke - so no need for anyone to take offense):
"It's those darn Canadians -- always responsible for sending us their cold arctic air!!!"
BTW-- Sydney-- Great Big Sea was on PBS last night!!

Keep clicking your flip flops and repeat after me...
...theres no place like home...theres no place like home...theres no place like home.....
Alright already. I got nothing to do. The Patriots didn't make the playoffs and it seems I have been snow blowing my driveway every three or four days.

On New Years' Day in NJ, I looked out the window and the thermostat at my MIL's house read 20 degrees. "20 degrees and a hockey game's on" was literally true. I could have sobbed out loud. And I don't get back to St. John until Halloween!

And I am ready to shoot holes in the freezer! Love the JB quote.
We are looking at highs in the teens toward the end of the week. Brrrrr....

I'm not one to complain about South Texas winters (read--lie, 60 is too cold for me), but it was 22 driving the kids to school this morning! BRRR! It was just in the upper 70's last weekend. Dang cold fronts. Not very polite for those fronts to come down here and interupt our party.

Y'all are lucky. Our HIGH temperature tomorrow is supposed to be SIX degrees, with a low of FIVE BELOW. Shlepping the kids into daycare in the morning is not going to be fun...

I am not a happy camper. We just got 6-8 inches of snow Saturday and expect 5 more tomorrow with 20-30 mile winds and wind chill -10 to -20 below zero. I'm going to have to bribe Gary to take me to work this week since he is off work. Door to door service sounds mighty fine. I have a long walk into work.
Edited to add that I only live 2 miles from work, so not really a hassle for him

Ok I have to admit that Deb and I broke down last week and put a light weight blanket on the bed and some nights we don't even turn on the ceiling fans in the the bedroom. I still haven't had to resort to fuzzy slippers like Pia. But it has been down right chilly here.

We went diving Sunday and I wore my shorty wet suit and really wished by the second dive that I had worn my long one. I have to dive today for work to change a prop and I am definately taking the long suit to work.

You would think that we Canadians would be smart enough to send ALL the cold down to you, but NOOOOOOOOOOOO we still keep some for ourselves. Yesterday and today it was minus 25 Celsius, that's
-13 F for all you non-metric babies.
Hey Jay, I really don't feel sorry for you, I'd give my right arm to be able dive with a shorty right now. Everything's frozen here.
April soon Come!!!!!!

I'm ready to shoot the TV... the weather guy just said, "It's pretty nice today." BAH!! 20 degrees is NOT nice!! Next Saturday cannot soon come soon enough. Keeping my fingers crossed that Mother Nature smiles on us and doesn't snow us in!

-30 wind chills here today. You know it's bad when the garage door freezes shut.
