I recently found out that this is happening while we are on island. Has anyone been in prior years? Is it fun? What's the crowd like? Also, what the heck does "island elegant" mean in terms of dress code?

Island Elegant = "Pretty Nice Stuff" (a direct quote from my husband

)

Seriously, it will mean people will dress up - no shorts - long pants and long sleeved shirts probably for men (or short sleeved shirts but nice fabric) - no tie or anything (usually anyway) - and a nice dress and heels for women (or a flat dressy type shoe.

Now, having said that you watch me be totally wrong

LOL, good one there Pia. Like Ronnie is the fashion guru of the islands. Good thing I wasn't drinking anything.

Unless, of course, you meant Ronnie the pizza boy. Nah, couldn't be him either,

Thanks Pia. I don't know if I feel like dragging down really dressy clothes--especially heels. I HATE wearing heels. If I do end up going I'll report back.

Heels are not necessary but for those of us on island it is a great event for us to do so

- you can wear flats just not rubber flip flops

You hit it on the head Pia. Yes, nice clothes, no flip flops or shorts.
Promo must be drinking again, such a shame. Just don't wear what he does and you will be okay.lol
