Beach Garden villa question

Hi all!
I know this villa is pretty new, so I don't know if any of you have stayed here yet, but I've been looking it for a couple days now from the Villa Serendipity webcam and it always looks like the hillside shades it. We are considering this villa for 2010. None of us like a cold pool, so we were wondering if that is the case.

We're also considering this house for our July 2010 trip. You're right, nothing worse than a cold pool! Which house is it on the webcam?

Speaking of the Villa Serendipity web cam... Does anyone know if Ocean Garden Villa is the one on the bottom right of the screen (in full view with the white roof)? I think it is, but I'm not sure.

Beach Garden is the one that sits right on the water. Almost can't see it right now because of the shadow from the hillside! P600, not sure which one is Ocean Garden...sorry!

We stayed at Beach Garden villa in early Sept. The pool is mostly sunny until about 4:00. It was a little cooler than the other villa we have stayed at (Splendore). The villa is wonderfully apointed with beautiful furniture, fixtures and lots of natural materials. There were still some things unfinished (I know they were planning on completing some of this after we left) such as outside wall tile, driveway and carport. We would definately stay there again. For some other pics of this villa, check out these at our website:

Trptman:
Thanks so much for the link to your pictures. Man, those views of Chocolate Hole are awesome. Wouldn't have wanted to be out there during Hanna...WOW. Jumbie also looked much calmer for you than it was when we were there in June.
Thanks again!
PS: Is that a VT Hokies visor that Rachel is sporting??

We stayed at Beach Garden in July and the pool temps were great (and I'm a temperature ninny!) It does face east and the tradewinds, so winter or spring might be different but the dark tile in the pool might help keep things warm. It is a small pool so a good rain might affect the temps as well.

Sorry to take so long to get back - we've been out of town for a few days.
cliffnchristi - yes my daughter and her husband both graduated from VT a few years ago. I don't think we will go in Sept. again - we were a little nervous watching 3 different tropical storms/huricanes, but we only had two "bad" days in the middle of the week and had 4 great days otherwise.
CariBert - I pm'd you.

trptman, you took some lovely photos.
Beach Garden looks really nice--nicer even than the pictures on the Vacation Vistas site. I like the covered area out on the pool deck.

Any recent experiences or pictures of Beach Garden Villa out there?
We've decided to book for this coming summer!
Thanks.
