I have read about that bread cooked in the dutch oven. might have to try it. Charlie's been on a bread making kick - he was a baker in his former life!

I love to make my chicken like that with the lemons and rosemary. Definitely good eatin'.
Pjayer, I will look for that kind of cornbread. I think I have seen it before. I made okra patties this summer, which basically tasted like hush puppies with pieces of okra in it. They were great dipped in cocktail sauce.
I was going to make chicken and dumplings with this whole chicken I have, but I'm tempted to make beer chicken. I've never done it, but everyone raves about it. Have any of you?
Off to eat leftover chili now. I am seriously thinking about getting some frozen french fries and making chili cheese fries!

I have the day off today and am planning to make a bunch of stuff for the freezer....I am roasting a turkey breast stuffed with pears, roasting a loin of pork in milk gravy, making a lasagna, an eggplant parmesean, and baking some more bread. I had a couple of other things planned also but I am pretty tired today. All the late nights staying up to watch the Red Sox, Patriots, and the debates are catching up with me. I am seriously sleep deprived!

I just don't know how y'all do it. I love to cook, but I can't imagine making amazing, fancy dinners every night. My food is delicious, but I'm not going to win any awards soon...

Yesterday I made a host of things for the week.
Garlic and Dijon Coated Eye Round
Roasted Sweet Potatoes
Roasted Brussel Sprouts
Turket Meatloaf with Sourcream and onions
Tuna Macaroni Salad with Peas
Yogurt "cheese" dip (for our luncbox snacks)
I will be cooking like a crazy person this weekend, I leave for business next Monday night and I want to make sure that there is plenty of food in the fridge and freezer for Chip every night. I know I am making Chili and Chicken Enciladas with black bean salsa, but I need to look back at this thread for some more ideas.

I peeled them and cut them into chunks and tossed them with olive oil, CBGR, Garlic, and Nutmeg and threw them in a 425 degree oven. I just kept tossing them around to get evenly roasted. They were yummy!

Question regarding stuffing pork chops or chicken breasts...what do ya'll use to stuff them?
I love to use goat cheese, spinach and bacon but want to try some other stuff. Tonight I did goat cheese, green onion sausage and orange marmalade. It was good so now I am wanting to experiment. All suggestions are welcome!
Also, with the one I did tonight (which by the way was pork), I think it would have been even better with some kind of orange sauce. Any suggestions???

p.s. when I browned them before sticking them in the oven, I used an orange flavored olive oil.
