Pat:

I sure know the difference between a hard and soft roll. I'm from a small town North-East of Philly and when we order ""Hoagies" we have to specify which type of roll we want. I perfer the soft

I can't STAND scrapple. But we drive by the Ralph Adams and Paul Admas (RAPA) Scrapple factory on our way to see the in laws in Delaware.

BTW -- The Bridgeville, DE Apple Scrapple Festival is coming up in early October in case anyone's interested!

Hey-- CA Girl-- so you don't feel left out in the meat discussion-- How about Tri-Tip???? Hadn't had it until we were out in LA. Loved it. Thank god Trader Joe's carries it here in VA now!!

As for stuff I really can't live without on ST:

Sunglasses
Keens
$$$
Bens bug spray
Key west Aloe sunscreen
A good koozie to kep my drinks cold
Tie-dye t-shirt
tankini
life is good ballcap
and my dear, sweet, patient and wonderful husband!

(A chorus of "Awww's" would be appropriate here!!)

I'm not Margo, but I love tri-tip too! None of the bulk stores carry them here, I have to ask the butcher to cut me one because they don't stock them in any of the supermarkets either.

But they sure are worth going to the trouble of asking for...

Ok Gromit, you hit a nerve with tri-tip! The VERY BESTEST tri-tip in the whole world comes from - believe it or not - COSTCO! I freeze it up and take it to STJ with us!
