Hey Rick. We get in on the 2nd...Honeymoon gathering is the 4th right? If it is, we'll be there!

I prefer not to take the jeep over on the barge, so can we take the people ferry and walk from there? Or do we grab a cab and get to Caneel?

Yep, Honeymoon on the 4th, weather permitting!

Up to 34 travelers + locals. We'll break 40, and 50 is possible. The Beach Bar will be hopping for Sunday Jazz 11/2.

I've been getting calls about hitting Honeymoon Beach around 10AM on Tuesday 11/4 - folks seem to think that's a good idea; nothing organized, just show up with your favorite beverages. There's parking and a taxi stand at Caneel Bay: http://www.on-stjohn.com/2008/09/03/the ... honeymoon/

Greetings, all. We'll be down from 10/25-11/02, and even though we'll be missing the big forum get together, I was hoping to find the best place to go for any kind of Halloween party.
I think Pia said something about the Beach Bar,-not sure...
We're staying in Coral Bay again; any suggestions?
Hope to do the Monster Mash with some of you folks!
Thanks, and
Smiles-

Since we're staying in Coral Bay also, I'm thinking Skinny's for Halloween (I'm not sure if Shipwreck Landing will be re-opened by that time).

I guess Island Blues or Miss Lucy's could be possibilities as well, but since we're very close to Skinny Legs, we'll either go just there, or arrange/plan to end up there!

Boo!

Hey there, augie. We're staying, as I mentioned , in a villa in Coral Bay called Island Horizons. Where are you staying?
It looks like we'll most likely be hitting Skinny's, too.
It'll be fun anyway :D !
45 days to go!

We'll be staying at Reef Madness, just up the hill from Skinny's.

See you on STJ!

Augie,
You may have just inspired me to change my Forum Name from Maho Jim , to mahowallowjim.
Doesn't that sound like a great breakfast sandwich?-Or like, a great time, or something?
Who hates wallowing around, perfectly, in the surf  at Maho?
NOBODY!!!
Just don't call me marshmellowjim. That would be embarrassing.

Hmmm....maybe we should have a rain date?? I mean, it would have to be a LOT of rain to get me off the beach, but just throwing it out there. But "That's the way it is" works too!!!

Maybe that has been addressed earlier in the thread. Like I said in a previous post, I just started reading since we are getting closer...I can't torture myself with daily visits like Mrs B does.

Her Rick....who's drivin?!??

MrB, I'm happy to drive. Rain date? I've already given Connie my mobile number and a couple of the other folks have it. I'll pass out some cards Sunday at the Beach Bar so folks can call and coordinate.

Rain date? If not Honeymoon, then somewhere out of the rain. I hear Quiet Mon has a roof?

Hey, if I'm driving does that mean you're bringing that 5 gallon Bubba Keg filled with Blackout Punch?

Cheers, RickG

Hey...if we want a repeat of Vie's last year, then the kegs will be FULL!!!

Here's a quick reminder.... (give it a few min...it's still converting)

MrB, fun reminder of last November! Now, you know that MrsB is going to make you take that one down as soon as she sees it!

My rule is, any photo with MrsB in it gets reviewed by her first before I post it! Or rather, that's my rule now after she spoke to me sternly after the last trip. I thought she looked fine...

Are we taking video cameras this trip?

Cheers, RickG
