Sweet Pia.
Thanks for your post.
Aside from all of you on the forum, the Doctors, my wonderful mother Joan, my sister in law Kathy, her friend Michelle, and all of the other friends & family are still holding strong by Pauls' bedside.
More news to come, but thank you all so much for your continued support.
I can't say enough about how grateful I am to have this outlet. Your well wishes have given me a better way to deal with this whole thing, and you're all invited to watch me & My Sweet Amy wed this November on Maho Bay.
It truly means the world to me and my family that you all have been there with us through this, and I'm sending you a "forever thank you", for what that's worth.
News to come, hopefully with
Smiles-
Jimmy & Amy

Jimmy, I am so sorry that your brother suffered a setback. I hope that the doctors locate the infection soon and that your brother is able to continue his recovery.
I'll be keeping you and your family in my thoughts.

Jim I've been through this myself with my Mother and major operations, set backs and worry.
Usually, when someone has some serious injuries, there are good days and bad days. It's definetly and up and down ride for all of you.
You have an excellent outlook on life and your such a sweet person. I'm sure your brother is the same way.
Keep the chin up and be positive. Things will work out with all these prayers.

Oh Jimmy, I'm so sorry things have been so hard.

All these prayers just have to have a positive impact. You and your family are on my mind all the time.
When in Nov. is the wedding? SOTB will be there the first week.

Jimmy, I haven't been on the forum for awhile and just caught up on the news about your brother.
My heart is heavy thinking of all that he is going through and even heavier thinking of all the loved ones surrounding him. There is power in prayer, I believe, rest assured he and the family will be tops on my list.
Your right, he is where he should be and thank goodness it sounds like good care. You and your family (and especially Amy) will carry each other through this tough time..........and yeah it is a long road ahead; but he'll have plenty of support along the way.
Jan
P.S. Congrats to you & Amy, you guys are so in love

Hey Jim - Just wanted you to know that I come here more than once a day to check on how Paul is doing. I was so sorry to hear about this setback, but as others have said, our strength and prayers are being sent often. Thinking of you all.

Thanks for your well wishes, and prayers, everyone.
Paul almost looks like your avatar, Cid, but his lips are swollen, and there are tubes coming out of his body from everywhere. I hate it.
Message to everyone in our "Forum Family-"
I'm so sorry to put this on your plate.
Maybe I should keep this type of personal stuff, well, personal...
I couldn't.
I had to have an outlet, and so that's that.
I can't thank you all enough.
A lifetime ago, Paul taught me the difference between "Sap", and "Syrup", by the way, as far as women are concerned.
He's my big brother, afterall...
I sincerely hope that I'm not sounding out of line.
With his wisdom, I'm still
Smiling for my brother & me
Jimmy
