Hey, Kirk! Good to hear from you. A trip to STJ isn't in the cards for me right now, but if it was we'd definitely track you down to show you what a bad influence really is.
As far as the villa in question, I stick to my assessment made several years ago, as it was ever growing: From Francis Bay it brought to my mind a festering zit.

I don't know if the tunnels et al had anything to do with this morning's earthquake, but I do have some inside information based on research I did in trying to figure out who or what was behind all the mysterious construction projects at Peter Bay, the vast amounts of money spent there and particularly regarding the Presidio del Mar, the Time Machine and The Beach House, and there is a connection.
Is the Time Machine a villa?
Or is it the idea of a "time machine"?
Actually much of the information written by Morph Enoch is true (according to historians). There was a full moon just before Friday March 13 and there is a flame eating/throwing act of some sort on the island. The supposed tunnels connection is a question...
All this seems pertinent to me with the current concerns and comments voiced on this forum about the VINP and Maho Bay properties. To me this creative energy may not be here to amuse, rather to inspire.
For the record, I would rather see any/all of the Peter Bay villas clustered in greenery and blending by native materials than all the villas and cottages popping out all over the hillsides in non-park lands. I have had a similar experience where pristine land is being developed, but carefully planned, and will blend beautifully and offer much needed income to the area; yet, the locals are fighting to keep out those moneyed outsiders who will "change everything while spoiling the beauty". Who knows, those outsiders can often give the "good" that we cannot.
I do not own any part of Peter Bay Estates nor am I Oprah...

Well, let's just think about that for a moment.
Seems your screen name has
three letters in common with the name Oprah.
Coincidence?
I think not.
When's the party?

pick the date...
Hope that you'll take note of all this earthquake/volcano action while checking your calendar...

It's really hard to slip anything by Joshie. There's very little that gets past him. We're fortunate here.

I knew Jack Andrews years ago when he first came to the island and I don't think he had much money then. I know he had a couple of partners, Tom and Jerry as I recall, but then David Mugar showed up and I always thought he was the money man behind Peter Bay and Andrews, Tom and Jerry were his gofers. I remember Andrews talking about finding Blackbeards treasure buried at Peter Bay and hired Paul Pono to recover it and that's why Pono is here with his excavating equipment and welding operation.
Andrews was going to do a movie and brought in movie producer who bought the house Andrews used to have at the top of Cathrineburg. I think it had something to do with Johnnie Dep and Pirates of the Caribean but I think he also had Woody Harrelson to play a role. I heard Dave Mugar was financing a big treasure hunt in Maine that was supposed to have the Templar treasure. There was a book written about it and the place was called Oak Island. In fact I think it was called Oak Island Treasure.
Maybe Mugar got wind of Andrews discovery at Peter Bay and that's why he abandoned the Oak Island deal and came to Peter Bay. Does anyone know anything about Mugar and Oak Island?

Tanks. It seems several people have little pieces of the puzzle. Just thought I'd throw mine out there.
