finally came back to finish reading this. I'm a little a-scared of bringing my newbies. If they don't get it I will kill them

I love your writing style. I laughed at the part where you ran out in your undies to pee! HA! I can relate to that, that has become my routine anywhere I'm camping (think maho) but I also think I've lived in the country too long because a squat in the woods has become oh so familiar.

V - thanks for TR.
Very nice text and some awesome pix as usual, although you kill me when I ask for details on your photos and I get a response that sounds like you are paraphrasing Butterfly McQueen in Gone With the Wind: “I don’t know nothin’ about takin’ no pictures!”
Yet somehow, you manage to work wonders with those fancy lenses and polarizing filters...

GG,
California Girl correctly ID'ed that as a sharp-tailed eel. Not something you see every day, or even every year...pretty rare, actually! Vicki is lucky.

Too Funny! Great report and pictures.
Whenever you're in the Boston area, I'd love to do a photo safari around town.

Vicki,
I finally got to read your trip report and it was amazing! I think before I take any other newbies, I'll give them your report to read. So far everyone has loved it, but you never know!
Your pictures are breathtaking! Thanks for taking the time to share!

Loved your report, Vicki! Love your storytelling and your beautiful pictures! It's kinda odd taking newbies with you that don't get it, isn't it?

It took a week, but I finished the report. Thanks for sharing your experience. There's a lot of lessons in there for those that "Get It" that I need to be reminded of, especially every time a newbie tells me they want to join the next trip.
Thanks.
Cheers, RickG
