If you didn't like user-generated travel reviews, why would you be on Trip Advisor? I haven't used it for STJ, but I have used it for Vegas, and here in Nashville. Isn't that pretty much all it is? Maybe that person needs to choose a better venue; I just hope that venue isn't here, because we don't need that divisiveness here.

I have learned so much from the minute details, and I love seeing everyone's personal photos. I think of all the pictures of weddings, engagements and last trips before a loved one passed on that have been shared here, and I just can't imagine if those weren't included in the trip reports.

But, maybe it's because I care about hearing about people's lives and see you as people with feelings more than just someone who stayed at a villa that I may like.

Oh that Frommer guy is just trying to discredit personal trip reports because they're probably taking business away from his little travel guides. What a dope! Like I said before, I've yet to see anything in a "professional" travel guide about roosters crowing at 5 a.m. and waking you up, or whether or not the pool ever warms up during the day. Personal trip reports offer so much more in-depth information than any "generic" travel guide.

Hey we have some pretty funny useless photo's in our album & if u decide to view them & don't care for silly, there a X in the upper right corner use it !!! LOL cheers Rachelle
