[quote="iowaguy"]Sorry I'm a little late in catching up on my forum posts. I'll be there for the gathering on March 16th---I have a big group in tow---a "gang of 19" in Rick G lingo.
Wow, 19??? How many villas do you have?? We will have our little family of 4. Are any in your group 15 or 20 year olds. Mine are girls. I know my 20 yr. old would love to meet a cute 20ish yr. old really nice, clean cut, no fooling around, no tattoos, kind of guy. I added the last few qualities.

Hay, that's her dad's rules and the golden goose makes the rules.

Cypressgirl-- Yes---I think I must be nuts. There are 3 other sets of parents along though. We have 3 villas, all in Great Cruz Bay area. We have 5 college girls---all 20 or 21. Pretty sure Little Cyp will be able find them at Woody's or Beach Bar most any night. Unfortunately, we have no college boys. We also have 4 (or maybe 5) high school seniors (3 or 4 boys, 1 girl). See you in March.

Does he have a big trust fund??
Iowa.......I'm one of those overprotective moms that won't let the kids go out by themselves at night, so I have to drag my tired a$$ out with them if they're going out.

I guess I've seen too many Natalie Holloway stories and others of that kind, so I wouldn't sleep anyway.

So does she. So much that she doesn't mind going out with her old mom. She even wants to work there a couple of years when she gets out of college. The golden goose won't have much control of her then. He thinks it's a terrible idea. I say go for it while you can. There's plenty of time to get married and settle down into the rat race.

Hi All, Been lurking here for the last couple of weeks.....we head down to St John on March 4 through the 15th.....a group of 11 of us! Mind if we 'muscle in' at one or two of the Beach Bar Get Togethers? I was reading a couple of posts from the past (can't remember the dates) about a get together and someone had procured name tags in the shapes of fish and flip flops. Anyone know where I can get some of those? Also, bought the Kenny Chesney CD "Be As You Are" today and loving it. Made copies for all our St. Johnians so they can suffer along with me while waiting until March 4th! Actually, husband and I are staying on St. Thomas starting Feb. 26 until the 4th. Any suggestions for dinner? We are staying at the Marriott (time share - not the new ones!)....have had dinner at their restaurant, Blue, and also had dinner one night at Oceana downtown, which was wonderful. Any other suggestions would be appreciated as well as some other beaches to visit. Thanks in advance.
Janet aka darkanddietwithlime (ah, that just rolls off the tongue, doesn't it?)

DDWL...while you are on STT...you
MUST dine at A Room With A View in Bluebeard's Castle. The food is out of this world and the view doesn't suck...either!

My mouth waters just thinking about it...argh!

Thanks JC - we will definitely check out the restaurant at Bluebeard's....also captainjay, thanks for adding me to the March 9 get together.....so far I guess we'll all just 'get together' with ourselves since it doesn't look like anyone else from the forums will be there on the 9th! Perhaps hubby and I will ferry over on the 2nd to check things out! thanks again.

In order that DDWL and krewe do not have to meet with themselves...go ahead and add us (JC & Ron) to the slate...we'll be on island M 5-26! Looks like that makes right about three meetings...hehehe!

JC.............3 weeks. That's long enough to actually get some rest and relaxation. A week is long enough to go home and need a vacation.
