I'm so sorry. What a terribly sad loss. I can't imagine.

Some years ago, in the midst of what I hope was the worst time of my life, I went to STJ. It seemed like the only place I could think of where I could possibly bear the fear, sadness and pain in me. It's beautiful there but there have also been some periods of terrible darkness. It can absorb a lot. I felt held by the island and some healing could start. It can be a place to heal. Not everybody's there for the party.
