In times of joy and sorrow we rely on music to inspire, console, and reassure. Perhaps it is the empathy we get from knowing that others have faced our situation. Whatever is decided, we should coordinate it so that the charity(s) knows the donations are coming and they can save a tally to let Mrs. B know. They could also share the names with her but not the individual amounts contributed. Most charities have that sort of system in place to track that.

It would be a nice thing for her to know (as I am sure she does already) that so many people care, even those of us who never met him.

John & Amy shared the island and villa with Barbara and I. John was the most true person that I have ever met. I wish that I was half the man that John was. And no, I am not Mutumbo.
