Just sat down to read this thread for the first time this morning- This is hysterical! I love it. All of the above pertain to me. Last night and early this morning I couldn't sleep- Sooooooooo-2 hours later here I am.

You know you are addicted when you can't wait to get to a computer to check in here when you are on island.
You know you are addicted when you and Ruth talk about your forum friends whenever you see each other.

When you are skiing and you call home to have your son check the forum because there is no internet access in you chalet. And he says you have a problem

When you go into St. John Spice to introduce yourself (in person)and Ruth say "you must be Scott, Tom(waterguy) has been looking for you" and none of us have ever met.

This happened to me yesterday. I was in my zone---not thinking about St. John---driving, checking off completed errands and listening to Sirius Shuffle----the Dave Matthews Band was playing. Without a blink I said, "Oh, nothintolose loves the Dave Matthews Band!"

I think this covers more than one addiction:

My 82 year old mother EXPECTS a 45 min. phone call from me every afternoon. I mix a coctail, get in front of the forum, and say uh-huh every few minutes and let her talk. She's happy and I am to.

HA does she know my 83 year old mother? My mother doesn't expect 45 minutes - well at least not all at once, she usually does it in calls MULTIPLE times per day

I'm not sure which is worse. I think I'd rather get it over with in one call. Multiple times a day??? Not sure I could handle that. I'd really be a drunk!!

oh yeah multiple. even though she knows I work from home she start every call with "are you working??' HA
