Great report, we going with 3 "newbie" couples in February, god I hope they "get it"

I also end up with quite a few pictures of my wife's butt

How hilarious was that trip? At least you made the best of things with the newbies. But, really, I have to say the trip report is funnier because of them! As usual - beautiful pictures. You certainly do have a great deal of talent - thank you for sharing. One of these days - we too will visit Jost!

Great report.
I heard from everyone on White Bay that met you that you are quite sweet.
If you go back to Ivans again ask for Arawak(sp).
Big king size bed and more comfortable and more light to get ya to the bathroom.
I am glad you had fun......I also like how you put your TR all in one day by day......good flow.

Personally, I wouldn't give Matt's pals another chance. Life is too short and good travel opportunities must be taken advantage of. I'd consider Abaco the sputtery trial run and this visit the downright nail-in-the-coffin.

Very good thing that you had buddies around to keep things lookin up. That's what buds are all about!

For those that have asked, "what was John and Teresa's overall take on St. John?"

They have no desire to return and considered the highlight of the trip Woody's. 'Nuf said.

I am a very tolerant person and I have a tremendous amount of patience. It would take a lot more than those two to ruin a trip for me! My entire life has taught me that the best practice is to laugh in the face of adversity. Works every time!

Thanks for the Ivan's sidebar. Very informative. Glad you aren't the type of person to let others ruin your trip. Who could hate Vie's beach...seriously?

Sidenote- I'm taking down a group of newbies in May and I learned a valuable lesson from your TR. Any of my Newbie Friends are capable of opening the bathroom door at Woodys while I'm in there. They would leave the door open and walk away! Note to self - don't pee at Woodys! Thanks!
