We're expecting snow flurries tonight. It's too early for the white stuff here!

The view from my hotel window this morning is certainly more brutal than the south Florida beach I was viewing on Monday. How do the New Englanders deal with the long cold winter?
(I am still flunking re-sizing class, btw)

I have been in the Northeast for less than 72 hours and have already enlisted Hibernation Mode. A far cry from the many outdoor FL adventures I have been enjoying the last several weeks. Perhaps I'll write a FL TR with all my new-found hotel time.
I am already addicted to carbs and do not need encouragement to insulate. I'm attempting to diet prior to upcoming STJ trip and its NOT going well!

You have inspired me. I am staring down the barrel of several weeks of cold weather...so I'll see if I can put together a TR worthy of the Forum. The beach pics could raise some spirits. Its not STJ, but it was pretty darn nice! I can see why you would miss it!!

View from my office here in Arlington (pre-inauguration onslaught!)
And while it's not as bad as some-- we're at 25 fun loving degrees!!
My iPhone tells me that it's 82 in Cruz Bay...
*sigh*

Where the snow be at? Wow. I can't imagine a landscape with no snow at all. Except of course, when I look at the webcams in the USVIs.

Ok, so this isn't outside my window, but it's about 4 miles from my house. Taken today at about 2:30 p.m. Marcia, here's a landscape with no snow. It was in the 80's today. I hope no one gets mad at me for posting this... I'm just trying to help warm you up!

I'll take CG's view of Dana Point Harbor---nice.
Not really outside my Iowa window, but I just got back from skiing in Colorado and this snowy view was outside the window of our condo on our trip:
Here's a better mountain pic from our trip:
