We usually use a porter when we are in STT (we have been there four times in the last three years in November or December). We asked our taxi driver to get us a porter but there were none to be found ... he looked and we looked. I guess they were swamped with larger parties (we only have 4 pieces to check for 5 people).
I agree it is the best $20 you can spend if you can FIND a porter
I enjoyed writing the report as it is a nice way to capture the moment (I can then take pieces for our annual Christmas letter ... yep I am one of THOSE people
).Sure has been quite an adjustment to not waking up at Villa Tesori ... although it is good to be home with the doggies!
