My DH is battling cancer and I'd like to share a message from his Caring Bridge guest book; it is also engraved on a dog-tag style necklace, given to him by a friend. He wears it for inspiration:

"What cancer cannot do... it cannot invade the soul, suppress memories, kill friendship, destroy peace, conquer the spirit, shatter hope, cripple love, corrode faith, steal eternal life, silence courage."
[/quote]

so sorry for what your DH is going thru but what a powerful, beautiful statement that was given to him. I am a deacon in my church and visit many patients w/ cancer as part of my role in the church, I took the liberty of copying this statement and will make lovely copies of it to pass on to those I visit.

I will add your DH to my prayer list and pray for his recovery.
