I have to join the chorus in appreciating your wonderful trip report. You have such a distinctive voice, your personality comes through so clearly. And the photos are amazing! I'm going to look at the whole set now...hope there's a picture of your husband's watch. I'm a watch nut, too.

We had a similar chair incident at Cinnamon. We took a long walk and on our return there was only one chair as we approached. I was like you gotta be kiddin me someone stole our chair. I look up at a group of people that set up behind us and one of them felt free to take it. Walk up to her and say mind if I could have my chair back? She just looks at me and gets up not saying a word. What the hell is the matter with some people

Really enjoyed the TR and, of course the photos, but I have to say my favorite part was about the garage sale See-n-Say. That could really mess a kid up.

All I can say is WOW. 
I have certainly enjoyed my time reading your report and looking at your photos. You have a real eye for interesting pictures that is indeed inspiring and your ability to tell a story and paint pictures with words is excellent. I noticed that you even have some underwater pictures mixed in. Do you mind if I ask what camera you use? Thanks for showing me how it is truely done ... my only concern is that you have set the bar beyond my reach.

Loved your TR and pictures.
Same camera, same lenses, but my results are not even close. I guess I'll have to go back and get more practice.

I think I just died and went to heaven just from reading your fantastic trip report!!!! Not only is your writing style superb and it makes me feel like I'm there, but your photos are to die for!!!!

To answer for those who asked - Underwater pics were taken with a Casio Exilim with an underwater housing and the others were taken with a Canon Rebel using a 17-40mm L series lens (more often than not with a B+W circular polorizing filter) and slightly adjusted with Photoshop CS3 and the Velvia Vision plug-in (most of that is thanks to forum member Ken!). Whew. That was a mouthful.
Jo Ann - I can see where the title might be confusing. Let me clarify...I might do short.....just depends on what he looks like.
JMQ - If an ass says "oink, oink" would a half ass just say "oink?"
Gibber161 - The Caneel Buffet is $55 per person. A lobster dinner at Morgan's Mango will cost more.
I am not freakishly short. I do not have an eating disorder. I do not have a tapeworm.

And my mother interjected that my See-n-Say did not say, "The chicken goes MOO." It showed the chicken and then said, "The cow goes MOO." I can see how that makes a huge difference and would certainly be less confusing to a child. Thanks for that clarification.

I had a canon 300D (Rebel) and upgraded to the 20D with upgraded lens but my pictures never came out like yours. I guess it is true...it is the person behind the camera and lens. You have a talent. I have the Photoshop CS3 and i will start using that to see if my pictures can come close to yours. Thanks for sharing.
