Susan - That's not a dumb question at all. I asked Sydney if I could plug stuff in before we went (mostly my computer). Yes, as long as the generator is running, you can plug anything you want in.
I didn't use my hairdryer (although I did bring it) because my hair dried in the breeze as we went along.

I get my hair cut to be shorter and curly before we go on beach vacations just so it isn't too big of a deal just in case. I spend the rest of the year with straight hair but on vacation I don't want to miss out on the fun because of the time it takes to straighten it! I am sure at some point I will do that though not as often as I normally would. It just isn't worth it in and out of the water all day!

I straighten my hair every day, too. But even if I spend time drying and straightening it on STJ, it just ends up wavy anyway, so why bother?

Yep, it's just as good as I knew it would be. I know you work hard on putting this together, but it comes across as effortless. Great job Margo!

Great report and pictures.
Now I have one question that is going to make everyone die. Can you plug in a blow dryer? Because my hair just WONT DRY without one. I don't care what I look like (within reason)....it is not a glamour issue as much as it just turns into this moist flat mess-it would really be nice to have it dry at least to go out to one or two dinners.
Stop groaning men. Don't want to hear it.
Yes as long as you rent a boat with a generator which the one they were on has you can run a blow dryer.
