Brenda, so sorry. We had to put down one of our cats 2 weeks ago. I know it's tough. You gave her a good life, that's all you can do.
They just don't live long enough.

All I can say is WOW, you folks are the best! I feel like so many of you went through this with me since Saturday when it all started. I want to thank each and every one of you who gave advice, understood my pain, maybe just read this, and finally the words of support regarding our difficult decision.
One thing Joshie said really stood out in my mind. "....follow your heart." I'm glad I brought her home if even for a short while. I got to love her up for one more night instead of her going from the cage to death. No harm done there.
The number of responses I got to this dilemma is really heartwarming. Thank you all very much!!!
