Okay, I was enjoying your photo Teddy and thought hmm, are those Canadian Geese on the lawn?
Then looked a bit closer and thought maybe they're rocks and people about...
inquiring minds want to know; what's on the lawn?
Love the mountains hovering in the background!
Enjoy,
Kathy

Hi Kathy,
Yes, those are Canadian geese. Our parks in Denver are full of them. They stay year-round and don't migrate. People here either love them or hate them. I personally wish they'd go back to Canada!
Glad you liked the photo.

Hey Teddy, thanks. I know what ya mean about
the geese. They love the lawns and then when
they take over there's usually "bombs" all over
the place, so they can be messy.
Enjoy your weekend!
GOOOOO RED SOX!!!

But Teddy Salad, you forgot pictures of the Red Aspen this year. I didn't take any pix either. But if anyone did it was a first for many years. The temps did't get low enough at night to make the Aspen trees die before they were allowed to turn red and go through their full cycle of color. My husband and daughter caught it in Rocky Mtn. Nat'l Park and it was grand. Never seen that before in 30 years of Colorado history.

Terry,
Missed the red aspen, darn it. Sorry you didn't get any photos of them.

I love fall! Outside my window is the top of a tree that looks exactly like the one you posted, all orange and red and pretty and nice… so every time I go outside I see all those pretty colors and I feel the wind blowing into my face and tugging at my scarf. I love going to Starbucks at fall and having a Chai Tea Latte … you got me dreaming now

I was out in the yard messing with the camera and we still have some pretty good colors around here.
This is looking toward my front yard
Someone moved in to the neighborhood
this crazy tree is in the very back of my yard. didn't even know it was on my property until recently
my neighbor's
this is another neighbor's tree but that lovely orange color fills my kitchen window. I love it!

Love the photos, Mary Beth.
It's rainy and dreary in NYC right now. Walking around the city I've seen beautiful yellow & orange colors all around but I only see a few skinny trees along the sidewalk outside my windows. They have turned deep yellows, though... just a little glimpse of fall for me

Gorgeous pictures, Mary Beth!
Sherban - I like the looks of where you live! We also have stables within walking distance.

Beautiful pictures Mary Beth and Sherban. What a lovely area you live in Sherban!
We don't see such red colours here in DK. So if I some day will visit USA, perhaps it should be in fall

.
Outside my window there is a beech wood. I love to follow the season changes. Just now most of the leaves
are falled off - regrettably many of them are ended up in our gutters
