This exclusive rumor just in from News Channel 3:
Though she is keeping her choice for vice president secret,it's being reported that presidential candidate STJ Ruth, in anticipation of a near-certain victory in next month's presidential election, is already considering numerous names to fill her cabinet positions. Word is that much vilified Wisconsin attorney Pete[Mr. Marcia] is angling for the top spot with Health and Inhumane Services. Also, it's been said Blacksburg, VA woodworker extraordinaire Jorge is being prominently mentioned for a high level spot, but is already requesting that he be supplied with a Head Administrator. Other serious considerations are rumored to be California Girl, pjayer, stjdeb, Lulu76, and Xislandgirl, all highly respected members of the acclaimed Virgin-Islands-On-Line Forum. We'll keep you informed as this storybook tale unfolds.

Please note that I will consider lurkers for cabinet positions if they present an impressive application.

Wouldn't they have to de-lurk to submit their resumes?
Come on out and play, folks!

USA needs to try a new way! What about a European,a Dane,Linne as a minister for Energy. She can tell you a lot about, how you save oil, gaz etc. because she is used to high prizes! So after a while you perhaps can have the ligt in the end of the tunnel turned on again

How can you have the heart to claim such qualifications, Xislandgirl, I have lost all hope now:
I don't smoke - okay I can learn it - but I'm just a fool when it comes to parking, never think I'm able to learn that

That's ok, Linne. With you and X-girl in the administration, we'll save a lot of oil because everyone will be too blitzed to drive anywhere. I'd lend support for both of you, though I'll be pretty busy trying to hold down the bar at Shipwreck Landing. I'd think I'd make a excellant Minister of Eastern Island Affairs, as I get along with the locals, speak their lanquage, and I had some other qualifacations but I forgot what they were.

Linne- we will surely need a foreign relations head of state. I say that you get the job. You are not American and you (I am guessing) have had "relations". Ruth will have to give you the job.

Good job, Pete. I'm sure you're a shoe-in, but Candidate Ruth needs to maintain transparency.
Same to you XIG. And, you get extra consideration for not only listing your qualifications but giving a complete job description. My guess is you'll be one of the most popular cabinet members in this administration.
Linne, so glad you're willing to serve. I'd say you're the right European for that position.

JT, what's this about a story book tale? If people think STJ Ruth's candidacy isn't real, we'll never get forumites to sign up for her cabinet. After all, this isn't some sort of parallel universe where we just make s**t up as we go along. From now on, I encourage you to stick to truthiness and set aside the facts. Now, keep up the good work. I look forward to future updates.

I really want an important sounding job but don't have any great qualifications. I think that makes me a perfect candidate for a presidential appointment. All these other positions sound like they'd be an awful lot of work, but I think I found one that will suit me pretty well: Chief of Staff to the First Lady.
My qualifications: I am already a fairly lazy government worker and I can't imagine that Ron will be too terribly demanding.

Damn, why didn't I think of that job? That is a great one!

Thank you so much JT.Nice said. My spirit has risen now.
And X-girl: Head of foreign relations is much, much better. What a fine proposal. I have a lot of qualifications for that job:
Denmark border on Germany, and sometimes Angela Merkel crosses this border in her airplane
We have a bridge to Sweden
I have a girlfriend whose son is in Afghanistan
And most of all:
Denmark has owned a part of USA, and if I can be the head of foreign relations, I will do my best to prevent that Denmark buy this part back just because USA need some money at the moment

Qualifications please? (Just a formality, but keep in mind the transparency thingy mentioned earlier.)
